I wanted to move to tokyo.
Then I found out it's next to impossible for us to get work visas. I hate you, futuristic foreign super powers.

Not Being Useless
So. Putting meaning on an idea isn't easy but I hope I get this across with the following prose; don't be fucking useless.
This pretty much pertains to just about everyone. If I can suggest one thing for every living person in this world is for them to strive to never let themselves become useless. Being useless is a broad and rather general catch-all term, I understand this. What I hope to instill upon the masses is that being useless has become a rampant problem and that one should strive to be ever versatile. One cannot succumb to the numbing effects of everyday life, thus transcending the uselessness we commonly devolve into. One must, I hope, strive to constantly relevant in today's world. I hope that someday we all get past our front doors and daily routines and find out what it means to be adaptive to the wider world.
I work daily. I understand the pull of the US society to be complacent and without want for something better. I feel the pull of Uncle Sam to be constantly recalcitrant. I deeply relate with the notion that today is as good as today can be. I really do. What I hope to one day achieve, and to help others achieve, is the idea that tomorrow isn't guaranteed to any of us. We don't have a written outline that dictates the longevity of our lives so why be content with what's in front of you? Go out and achieve something better for yourselves. To strive for a better today for everyone is to forgo the uselessness we have mustered in our collective hearts. I know I'm trying to grow beyond all that.
Let's stop being fucking useless to each other. Let's stop being nameless faces behind the steering wheels of people who are just in each others way on the freeways. Let's stop being the filler in your neighbor's field of vision. Let's stop being the man and woman in the gray suit.
Let's start being that person who makes someone else's day better. Let's start making things and doing more. Let's start pushing our collective limits. Today we look back. Today we see the wave that arced and crashed during the turbulent 1960's. Today we strive for something better. Today we start another wave.
Go out and start something. Go out and do something.

Amazing Shit.
Seriously fucking amazing weapon. People like glocks. Some wait on lists to get the new Taurus. Me, I keep it old school. USP 40.
So much badass-ness you'll piss vinegar
As a side note I wish they'd let us have this fucking thing and just get it over with. I mean, when the zombies march on our cities, a guy is going to need some long range single shot shootyness.

Little Bit of Real for Today
excerpt from an interview in Stop Smiling with Nas' dad, famed musician Olu Dara:
"You’re right — everyone. But everybody is different. Look at the black community. There are all kinds of denominations of churches, religions, hues, economic status. It’s the same for white folks and everybody else. But if you grow up in a world where people delineate, “We are this and they are that,” you’re overlooking the idea that we are all humans. That’s the one thing. We’re doing the same thing, we’re looking for the same shit. Everybody is trying to get something to eat, a decent place to live, a good education — all human beings are basically the same. It’s just that I think we are a lesser species than all other living things.
Growing up in the woods in Mississippi you could see that. I loved to stay around the animals, insects, plants and all kinds of beautiful stuff. Understanding how fortunate human beings are. As a kid I used to think, “Wow, we’re fortunate. Peach trees are growing, fruit trees, everything is growing. We could survive by not even planting if we don’t want to.” Everything is here, but the human being has some type of inferiority about who he is, unlike other living things. He’s combative because one person has a better pair of shoes. But we are not superior to anything. We’re somewhere way down the line. We’re afraid to make correct decisions. I think when human beings ceased to grunt and make noises like animals and started speaking, that’s when the trouble started. When the first guy started speaking, he probably said to somebody else, “What did you call me? What did you say about me? What?” Language, to me, is the enemy."

It's almost summer
...and I've already begun to shed excess "friends".
I really do think that some people are just out to use whoever they can while posing as their friend. It's sad, really. I look around at the people I keep close and I wonder if I'm following my grandfather's advice. I wonder if I'm keeping my friends close buy my enemies closer. I wish I wasn't. I wish I could surround myself with people who genetically cared about having a friendship. I wish I could find some folks or find something in people I already know that just made them incapable of using other people. People tell me all the time "it's who you know" but really, is that everything there is? I mean, does having people close to you because you eventually see them doing well enough that you can ride their rise really mean it all? Is that why we have groups of friends?
Whatever the case; if you owe me money I suggest you pay because you've been written off and I have no problem fucking you up.
If we don't hang out then don't call me when I start to do well for myself because you don't matter anymore.
If you're locked up with bitch problems then guess what? Don't fucking call me. I don't care.
If you need a ride and are too lazy to get your bus pass then don't call me. I really don't have time for lazy people.
If you're running in circles then you'll be running without me because you're just in my way.
If you're reading this instead of doing something productive with your life then you most likely know you're already on the "written off" list.
Go outside. Do something useful. Stop being a waste of natural resources.

If there's shit on your shoe...
..you stepped in some shit.
It's not a matter of opinion or a subject that's up for discussion. It's a fucking fact.
If it's just dirt on your sole, well, you've found some dirt along your way from there to here.
If you want to make right by your sole and get it clean you're going to have to give it some effort.
I mean, you could just use up all the cleaner you have in your cupboard but in reality it's just polishing the problem with a better shine.
Put in work. It'll work itself out....or maybe it won't.
Either way you have some shit to take care of.

You are not your fucking fix gear
....and I fucking mean that.
Your whip can be sick. Your wheels can kill heels but the bullshit you push is not what makes you a real fucking man. Your supreme could cost cream and your dunks can make niggas sunk but, really, it's just window dressing. Just because you're a slave with an expensive collar doesn't mean you're not a fucking slave.
I hope I made you look. Get off that trend and start something new.

I found this to be pretty kick ass...
...and it makes me wish I made more time to dance. In reality I've taken a hard look at school and as of late it seems to be worth fuck-all in the long run. Sure I'm getting an education and can officially say that I will be an educated person when I've gotten my degree but it doesn't transcend to me being an educated profit-making person that I can foresee. Will a career in writing really need a degree to be profitable? Will landing a "cushy" corporate job really be what I want at the end of this road? As of now the answer is a definitive no. I'll get my degree, I'll get a job, I'll make some money. I'll save for the free time I need to live a better life somewhere else and eventually move to said place.
